Bernard YANG is a Senior Associate of the Firm. His main area of practice is in commercial litigation and arbitration, with a focus on infrastructure, construction and engineering related disputes work.
Bernard has experience acting in contentious proceedings before the Singapore Courts (as both lead counsel and assisting counsel) and various other arbitral institutions. He has particular familiarity with the adjudication regime under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 2004 (“SOP Act”) having successfully assisted in prosecuting and defending numerous adjudication applications under the SOP Act.
Bernard also has front-end construction experience in drafting, reviewing and advising on
various standard form construction contracts
